Guest Blogger: Brien Michaels [and giveaway]

We have a guest today who has never ever been to Unapologetic Fiction before. Welcome to Brien Michaels who has a brand new book out with Loose Id. Awesomesauce! Brien and I share a love of writing...Twitter...and RuPaul's Drag Race...can I get an amen?

On that note, I'm handing this thing over to Brien. I'm going to drink some coffee until the other eye pops open. It's hard operating this computer with just one open.

Sommer! OMG, I haven’t seen you since…well, since Twitter earlier, but that’s beside the point! Thanks for having me darling. I promise I won’t tear the blog up too bad.

How is everyone today? So I’m gonna start this off with a question. What in your life do you feel most strongly about? What in this world are you the most passionate about? For me, it’s my writing.

Writing is about passion. Or, at least it is for me. In order for me to get really invested in a story, or even an idea, there has to be a fire behind it. Take my latest release, for instance. The initial idea for As Long As You’re Mine burned in my brain for about four months before I finally sat down to write it, just to shut Zac and Wade up.

There were a few speed bumps, as there are with every book, that made me doubt the story and want to throw my poor laptop out a window, but for the most part, this story flowed like water from my fingers and by the time I finished it, I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t want it to be over yet. It was almost like when you want something really bad and you finally get it and it’s gone too soon.

But passion like that doesn’t just apply to writing, it can go for anything in your life. When it’s that serious that it simply won’t leave you alone, you have no choice but to indulge it. You’ll go crazy if you don’t. That’s the kind of passion Zac and Wade, my heroes, feel. Be it towards their acting, or their relationship, they’re going to give it their all. Because otherwise, honestly, what’s the point of doing anything if you don’t feel it?

Who isn't a little bi-curious in college?

Wade Criss has always known there was something a about him, but he hasn't been able to admit it until now. He wants to sleep with another man. But not just any man. He wants his geeky, sexy acting classmate Zac.

Zac has been watching Wade all semester, waiting for the moment the other man would renounce his straight boy ways and fall into his bed. But when the two of them are paired together for their final exam, Zac isn't sure how to react. What if Wade finds out his secret?

Zac is an Adult Phone Entertainer, and it's that knowledge that turns Wade on more than anything. After all, there's nothing hotter than the anonymity of phone sex. But it doesn't matter how hot the sex is; everything always gets more complicated once feelings get involved. And Zac and Wade's relationship is far from the exception.

You can find As Long As You’re Mine at as well as on Amazon Kindle and All Romance Ebooks.

Make sure you leave a comment below to be entered for a chance to win a $25 Amazon GC at the conclusion of the tour. Thanks for dropping by!
